Esto quiere decir que nos ayuda a eliminar las toxinas que se acumulan en nuestro organismo. Favorece la funci\u00f3n del h\u00edgado ya que, seg\u00fan este estudio realizado por la Sun Yat-sen University, es hepatoprotector ante algunos tipos de afecciones. Por otro lado, su alto contenido de calcio y potasio facilita el filtrado de toxinas y sustancias de desecho que llevan a cabo los ri\u00f1ones. Esto explica que nos ayude a combatir la retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos en el cuerpo. Entre las enfermedades que podr\u00edan desarrollarse en un medio con esas caracter\u00edsticas, se encuentra el c\u00e1ncer. Algunos estudios demuestran, incluso, que el consumo diario de jugo de lim\u00f3n puede ser de ayuda en la prevenci\u00f3n de ciertos tipos de esa patolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4- Protector cardiovascular. El lim\u00f3n contiene importantes cantidades de vitamina C que, seg\u00fan una investigaci\u00f3n realizada por la Universidad de Connecticut, podr\u00eda influir en la protecci\u00f3n de nuestro sistema cardiovascular. En cuanto a los antioxidantes, en este caso, la hesperidina y la rutina son de especial inter\u00e9s. En su conjunto, ayudan a que las venas y arterias sean m\u00e1s el\u00e1sticas. Ello hace que el jugo de lim\u00f3n sea \u00fatil para prevenir enfermedades como la hipertensi\u00f3n, las varices, las hemorroides o la arteriosclerosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5- Ayuda a adelgazar. Se cree que el lim\u00f3n tiene la propiedad de estimular el metabolismo y disolver las grasas. Esto ser\u00eda posible gracias a su elevado contenido en vitamina C, pectinas y cafe\u00edna. Sin embargo, no existen estudios que avalen esta afirmaci\u00f3n. Por otro lado, el jugo de lim\u00f3n posee un efecto saciante. De ah\u00ed que sea un remedio efectivo para controlar el apetito, sobre todo si lo tomamos entre comidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6- Mejora la digesti\u00f3n. La piel de este c\u00edtrico podr\u00eda ser beneficiosa para nuestro sistema intestinal. As\u00ed lo afirma un estudio realizado por la University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology de la India. Podr\u00edamos consumirlo a\u00f1adi\u00e9ndolo a una infusi\u00f3n o como ali\u00f1o de muchos de nuestros platos. Tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edamos tomar su jugo en ayunas.
