{"id":12226,"date":"2023-11-27T12:35:11","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T15:35:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sergiolapegue.com\/site\/?p=12226"},"modified":"2023-11-27T12:35:12","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T15:35:12","slug":"la-llegada-del-tren-que-cambio-para-siempre-a-lomas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sergiolapegue.com\/site\/2023\/11\/27\/la-llegada-del-tren-que-cambio-para-siempre-a-lomas\/","title":{"rendered":"La llegada del tren que cambi\u00f3 para siempre a Lomas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A diferencia de muchas otras grandes ciudades,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/launion.com.ar\/nota\/31460\/2023\/09\/la-historia-de-lomas-en-su-cumpleanos-numero-162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">el pulso de&nbsp;<\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/launion.com.ar\/nota\/31460\/2023\/09\/la-historia-de-lomas-en-su-cumpleanos-numero-162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lomas de Zamora<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;siempre estuvo marcado por el tren. Como todo suburbio,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/launion.com.ar\/nota\/33195\/2023\/11\/barker-el-legado-de-los-primeros-inmigrantes-y-un-orgullo-educativo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nuestro partido se expandi\u00f3 alrededor de las v\u00edas<\/a>, su centro nace en la estaci\u00f3n y, a diferencia de los porte\u00f1os, son muy pocos lo vecinos que nunca se subieron a un vag\u00f3n del Roca para ir a trabajar, estudiar, pasear o hacer tr\u00e1mites en la Capital. Basta prender el televisor un d\u00eda de paro para entender las complicaciones que genera no tener el tren. No por nada es la l\u00ednea ferroviaria que m\u00e1s pasajeros transporta en la Argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si bien el ferrocarril fue un pilar fundamental para nuestro desarrollo como comunidad, las primeras v\u00edas se construyeron bastante antes de que Lomas se convirtiera en un destino popular para quienes decid\u00edan armar una vida, como s\u00ed lo fue durante el siglo XX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De hecho, el tren lleg\u00f3 a&nbsp;<strong>La Paz<\/strong>&nbsp;(as\u00ed se llamaban nuestros pagos en esa \u00e9poca) en 1865. Hasta ese momento, el \u00fanico medio de transporte disponible para llegar hasta Lomas era la carreta. El paisaje que se pod\u00eda ver a trav\u00e9s de las ventanillas en aquellos primeros viajes era, claro, muy diferente al actual. Al pasar por la altura de Banfield, cuya estaci\u00f3n se inaugur\u00f3 en 1873, se entraba en una zona de montes y \u00e1rboles frutales que hab\u00edan sido plantados por el alcalde<strong>&nbsp;Tom\u00e1s Grigera.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/launion.com.ar\/nota\/32036\/2023\/10\/la-misteriosa-curandera-que-atraia-a-miles-de-personas-a-temperley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La estaci\u00f3n de<\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/launion.com.ar\/nota\/32036\/2023\/10\/la-misteriosa-curandera-que-atraia-a-miles-de-personas-a-temperley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;Temperley<\/a><\/strong>, llamada as\u00ed en homenaje a&nbsp;<strong>George Temperley,<\/strong>&nbsp;un rico propietario de tierras de la zona que gestion\u00f3 el trazado del pueblo, hab\u00eda sido levantada dos a\u00f1os antes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El primer jefe de estaci\u00f3n<strong>\u00a0Ciudad de La Paz<\/strong>\u00a0se llamaba Blake. Los trenes, en esa \u00e9poca, ten\u00edan un recorrido acotado: part\u00edan diariamente desde Plaza Constituci\u00f3n a las 9 de la ma\u00f1ana, llegaban a la estaci\u00f3n Barracas a las 9.10 y a Lomas a las 9.35. De regreso, el mismo tren sal\u00eda de Lomas a las 11.30 para llegar a Buenos Aires a las 12.20. Otro tren procedente de Chascom\u00fas llegaba a Lomas a las 19.30 para detenerse en Constituci\u00f3n a las 8.10. Como podr\u00e1n ver, el tiempo de viaje era bastante similar al actual, aunque con algunas paradas menos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con los a\u00f1os vino la duplicaci\u00f3n de v\u00edas y m\u00e1s tarde la cuadruplicaci\u00f3n, ya que el Ferrocarril Sud determin\u00f3 que eran necesarias cuatro sendas entre Plaza Constituci\u00f3n y Temperley para atender a los crecientes servicios de trenes que cada a\u00f1o deb\u00edan servir los ramales con m\u00e1s frecuencias y longitud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy la estaci\u00f3n de Lomas es una de las m\u00e1s importantes por cantidad de pasajeros de todo el Conurbano bonaerense. Y, si bien falta mucho, el trabajo realizado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os sirvi\u00f3 para mejorar un poco la calidad del servicio prestado. Ojal\u00e1 que en el futuro todos disfrutemos de mejores prestaciones, m\u00e1s frecuencia y m\u00e1s seguridad.
